It appears that they viewed both the tapes before letting it pass. Here in Canada, all media that is transmitted in hard form (VHS, Television, etc.) is controlled by the CRTC (Canadian Radio and Television Council).  They also work closely with the Canada Revenue and Customs Agency -- they look for things such as hate, propaganda, underage, etc. -- since it's illegal in Canada, they'd give the option to either destroy the tapes, or return to sender (both of which the recipient would have to pay the Queen for the service). 

In the case of your tapes, they were reviewed and determined to meet all Canadian laws/CRTC guidelines.  It's a pretty normal thing here in Canada for that type of review at the border.  Your content is fairly tame, and I knew it would meet our laws, etc.  I figure they'd have a problem only if it was really hard core. I purchased a tape from shortfuse about a year ago.  Even with their slightly more heavy content, there still was no problem.
Overall, I was very pleased with your products. Nicely done!
